Experiences

  • 1966
    Participate in sculpture garden planning for Conefo project in Jakarta. Since 1970 began to be involved in arts exhibition program in national and international scale in ASEAN countries, Japan, India, Europe and numbers of city in Australia and USA.
    Since 1970 began to execute a lot of commission monumental projects for Indonesian public.
  • 1985
    Involved in Technical Team for Aesthetical Element for Indonesian Pavilion at Expo 85 in Tsukuba, Japan.
  • 1986
    Coordinator for Technical Team for Aesthetical Element for Indonesian Pavilion at Expo 86 in Vancouver, Canada.

    Art Programmer for Bali Imperial Hotel
  • 1994
    Speaker for West Java Indonesian Architechture Association meeting. Its theme was "Cooperation between Architects and Fine Artists".
  • 1994
    Appointed as member of Board of Jury for sculpture competition "The Gate of Aerocity Technology" in Bandung, Indonesia, executed by PT IPTN.
  • 1995
    Member of Board of Jury for National Competition for Corner Sculpture of National Monument, Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Member of Board of Jury for the "Welcoming Sculpture" Competition at IPTN Bandung, Indonesia.
  • 1995
    Appointed as member of Board of Jury for Sculpture Association Competition for National Monument each corner. The event was held by Jakarta Disctrict Governor.

    Appointed as member of Board of Jury for Photography Festival and Exhibition, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Indonesian train. The event was held by National Train Company and Rotary Club Bandung, Indonesia.
  • 1997
    Speaker for "Artworks Application in City-Scale Project Development" discussion, commencing the 1997 Adirupa Citra Raya Award for Environment Sculpture Design Competition, held by Ciputra Group.
  • 1998
    Appointed as Chief of Jury for the 5th National Painting Competition, held by Indonesian Art Foundation in cooperation with Phillip Morris Foundation.
  • 1998
    Officiated "Selasar Seni Sunaryo" private museum at Jl. Bukit Pakar Timur no. 100 Bandung, Indonesia (now known as Selasar Sunaryo Art Space).
  • 1999
    Artistic Manager for "ART" performance by Studioklub Teater Bandung, played at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space (Bandung) and Teater Utan Kayu (Jakarta).
  • 1999
    Appointed as member of jury for the "9th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh 1999" in Dhaka-Bangladesh.
