After the success of the performance of Electronic City – the first part of Das System tetralogy- at four major cities  in Indonesia, Unter Eis is the second collaboration between Mainteater and Kineruku (an independent film community). The script for Unter Eis was written by Falk Richter after he wrote Electronic City and before Hotel Palestine and Amok, also part of Das System tetralogy.
We are a society that has produced a social and economic order made up of too many systems, systems that we are not included in. The world which we have created is not for us. The world which we have made is for someone else. But for whom?
Directors of Corporations have built the new world,  a world created for consumers.  They will do anything to attract and keep the consumer in their capitalist economy. This Capitalist world will become the consumers new world, while at the same time this new world is on the edge of destruction.
