Program

These performance and workshop sponsored by HIVOS, was a collaboration between The Teater Payung Hitam (Bandung) and the Lunatics (Amsterdam). The Lunatics is a theater  group from Holland which is  focused to outdoor  setting, characterized by body movement and stage setting was  more dominant than the aspects of dialogue. The script of Black Moon was created by them, illustrated matters pertaining to man’s powerlessness in the face of nature. This script was adapted from the Sundanese folklore “Nini Anteh” and inspired by the Tsunami disaster of the people in Aceh.
