Silent Victim theme in this exhibition framed the muted victims issue. The theme is deliberately not framed specifically or strictly on a single victim in certain areas, such as political territory. In order to obtain diverse perspectives ranging from history, household, murder that swirled routine in various media and the pressure of social structures that reach the psychological space. These five artists have a tendency to see social problems and their psychological impact.

This tendency can be seen in their previous works. They also used different techniques and media. Each of the artists here also took a different perspective in reading Silent Victim. Isa saw from the modus, Keo viewed the psychological side of the victim, while Dhudung saw the victim on the side where close to us: household, Bambang B.P. were in the victims which are “doubled”, while Joni saw that the victim fall due to pressure of social structure.

The exhibition is jointly organized between Bale Tonggoh Selasar Sunaryo Art Space and Rumah Seni Kemarin Sore.
